sorry, can you elaborate on button issue?  different than add topic?  do you mean just not working...

quick look at your site, and we as guests cannot get in, you are throwing a whole bunch of js errors on your site...  almost all of them are from your spotlight theme..

the theme is using the $ name space vs the preferred jquery in a lot of its scripts... ie

$.fn.preloader = function(options){

vs

jQuery.fn.preloader = function(options){

might be worth seeing if in those theme js files, you changed $ to jQuery if it helps... does not appear to be too many, but its the cause of those errors...
