I'm experiencing an issue with creating a new topic.

I fill out the topic title and write my topic body but when I click Submit Topic, I get a small overlay "Saving post - please wait" but then I get redirected to forum homepage and the topic doesn't exist.

This only happens on the first attempt though. If I then immediately go and try and post a new topic again, it works fine.

Any ideas?

could also be js/jquery conflict... see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/

a link to your site would help check for common conflicts...

Forum is not live to the public yet but here's the link. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Pretty sure there isn't any jQuery conflicts or at least the console doesn't show any errors. We are using the W3 Total Cache though. Does that have known issues?

Sounds like a typical cache issue.
The forum page is dynamic so it can not be cached in the normal way that these plugins cache data. You will need to exclude the forum page (using the slug I believe) from ALL the W3 Total Cache components...

OK, will give that a shot. Will let you know if that resolves the issue.

OK, I've added the forum pages to be excluded by the cache and it's still happening. Any other thoughts?

did you clear the caches too?  and did it on the option page for every type of caching in play?

looks like you only did the page cache...

Page Caching using apc (Requested URI is rejected)
Object Caching 1191/1219 objects using memcached
Content Delivery Network via Amazon Web Services: S3: static.zerotackle.com

shows other caching still active...

Maybe it was just because I hadn't cleared the cache. Just tried again and it seemed to work.

Hopefully that has resolved it, thanks for your help.
