absolutely... just create a new moderators user group for each forum... then give the users you want to be a moderator membership in that moderator usergroup... and assign that usergroup with the moderator permission set to the forum in question...
this might help: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ng-access/

Hi there,Sorry for asking again. So what I did was to
1) create a new usergroup, indicated it as for moderators.
2) Added the desired user into that usergroup
3) Under my forum, i've added that new usergroup and gave it a permission of moderator access.
However under the Group Team - Yak Attack. I still don't see the moderator name under it to show others who is the moderators of that particular section.
The site I'm at is at sganglers.com/forum
Regards,
There are actually template functions available to display this information. They are not currently included in the available themes as the vast majority of users do not want to display it. But they can be added.
Simple:Press is template driven - just like WP itself. You will find the files in the /templates folder of the SP theme you are using. It is worth taking a look at them and just spending a few minutes looking through them as you should fairly easily start to see how they are constructed and how the display of each forum view is built up.
For the Group View (or 'front' page of the forum) the template in question is literally the spGroupView.php file. The function available for showing the moderators for a specific forum is:
sp_ForumIndexModerators( '', 'Moderators');
where the second argument is the label you want to have displayed. This would need to be in the forum listing loop. perhaps start by putting it under the call to sp_ForumIndexSubForums().
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
Is this what you need?

Will give it a go.. Just had a Big Boo Boo after I download some update plugins as indicated by wordpress for the SP.
Somehow it gave me a plugins/simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-error.php on line 161... Stress!!"
