Support Forum
I was planning on assigning some new admins for my SP Forum. When selecting their privileges, I can't tell what each feature does. I get the jist of some of them, but not all. I couldn't find any documentation or tutorials that explain exactly what each feature does. Can someone direct me to any resource? Thanks
The admin capabilities (Admins > Manage Admins) simply equate to the sections of the forum administration menus.
On the front end - the public facing forum of the web site - anyone set as an 'admin' can do and see everything. There are NO restrictions. But as the owner of a website you may wish to curb their activity in the back-end administration. For example - you may not want them to to be able to create or delete forums. Or change options.
So these are the capabilities that define what they can access in the back end administration.

I am not really sure of what level of detail you are asking for here. A quick look at the forum admin menu makes it pretty obvious what each section contains I would have thought.
if you are actually meaning each admin panel individually then ee do have spots earmarked in the new codex for this information although I am not sure how much we will actually put in there as the bulk of that information and real detail exists in the popup help on each panel itself which is a far more valuable and useful source. Putting that into the codex as well would just be repetition and cumbersome.

I'm under Admins/ Manage admins. The only box with help on the top right corner is "Admins - Manage Admins" (the very top panel) it has a help section but the other ones do not.. I understand most of the options, I can create a fake user and play around with the settings... I just wanted to add two forum admins and allow them to remove posts and move them... it seems like all of the "manage admin options" are for allowing your admins to customize the plugin.
