Support Forum
Hi Team
I have an admin manager who's working in the Forum for me, but she is reporting that every 2 or 3 times she saves a post she gets completely logged out of Wordpress.
I have asked my server guys what the problem could be, but they have no idea.
Could it be something in her settings or in global admin settings that would trigger this?
Appreciate you looking over this.
Regards,
Graeme
This is the exact issue she is reporting:
"When responding to questions on the Forum, at the moment it seems that after answering a couple of questions, generally 2-3, I am kicked out of the website altogether when submitting my response. I'm not sure why this is happening and luckily my replies have still been posted when this happens. I thought it might be a timing-out issue but it happens whether the question I post is long or short."
To be honest I really wouldn't like to say why WordPress would do that - and it is WordPress that is doing it - not Simple:Press. The only thing that comes to mind is that your user is not allowing the cookie to be saved when she logs in but I would not expect it to throw her out that quickly. Worth checking with her however. Allow the cookie to be saved AND click on the 'remember me' checkbox on the login form.
Other than that if you are using any sort of membership plugin or login enhancement plugin it is worth checking the settings you have for those.
Someone else here may have some other ideas...
