Support Forum
Funny quesiton for a forum I know but I have a corporate client who's asking if this particularly bonkers feature can be implemented (or if it already exists!)
Is there an option to have the forum administrator or moderators emailed a notification of each new post which is.. posted by a user. And allow them to either authorize and publish that post, or elect not to publish it to the forum?
Any thoughts on how complex this might be to add if it's not in there? What systems might I be dealing with?
Each admin and moderator can already elect to receive email notication of each new post to the forum.
The plugin also already has moderation built into the forum. You can have every post for a user moderated or jus the first one. If using post moderation you can use the Admin bar plugin for Simple Press to easily moderate these posts in moderation.
When the post by email plugin releases in a couple weeks, you will be able to reply via email to posts. If you reply to a post in moderation, it will be approved too.

No, that's not what I said... post moderation is built into core... admins/mod ability to receive notifications is in core.. the admin bar plugin gives admins/mods a toolbar for handling and moderating new posts... a new plugin to be released in couple weeks allows replying via email...
