Did you clear the combined js cache on forum - toolbox - housekeeping?  And your browser cache too.

Most odd. There should be nothing else to do other than that - especially if there are no other symptoms...

Let's try and see if any other error is happening. Can you use the browser web console to see if any errors are reported when you try the operation/click on the button? Clear all the caches again - including the web browser - open the console - go to the Manage Admins panel and then try. If there are any actual scripting errors they will show up (in red) on the console window.

For help with using the console  please see - https://simple-press.com/docum.....r-console/

It is very, very easy and quick to use.

I just did, there were no errors, and it still isn't working. Mind you I am referring to the back end, wheree you select a name to drag it add it to the admin section.

When I select the name and click move to selected list, nothing happens.

sorry, what are you referring to when you say "drag it add it to the admin section"???  there is no drag and drap UI there..  so confused...

we are talking about forum - admins - manage admins, right???  andyou are trying to add a new admin/

so members who can be made an admin are list in the eligible members window... to narrow down that list, start typing a name in the input box next to the filter button...  click the filter button to narrow down the list...  when you see the name(s) you want, highlight them and then click the move to selected list... adjust the filter if needed to find more users... when happy withthe list, click on the blue Add admins list near the bottom..

again, there is no dragging or dropping...

Hi, sorry for my description, that is exactly what I mean. None of the buttons work in there, not even the filter. Not even the next page buttons. It's idle, it doesnt move, except scroll down the names.

so this is with wp 4.7 and sp 5.7.3?

and just to be sure...  you downloaded the zip file, from the link you gave in post #1, unzipped it to your computer... you should end up with a spa-admin-events.js...  and then used ftp to upload it to simple-press/admin/resources/jscript?  so uploaded the extracted file, not the downloaded zip file?

and in your wp config file, you have not specified to use debug scripts?  asking because we only gave you compressed script replacement...

barring that, may need access to see it in person and see if other js conflicts or issues...dozens of users have reported that patch works so could be unrelated issue...
