I can't make the AIOSEO and SP understand each other since AIOSEO's last update.

SP shows the right title on the page as I have it on the SP admin options, but the browser title is the one in the theme that was supposed to be rewritten

I've been struggling for some hours, reading solutions in the forum but I can't seem to make it work

Here you have my configuration in case you seen something I don't

sorry, what is happening?  what is the title doing?

have you looked on the actual wp page the forum is shown on?  are the aioseo items turned off for that page?

the browser title shown in my forum pages is showing what it's hardcoded in my theme's header... it doesn't show neither what's on the AIOSEO nor the SP

and the forum is not excluded in the AIOSEO options because it never was and it always worked

hard coded? so it does not use wp_title()? not sure we could have ever replaced it then... can you paste here the code?

that makes sense, but it used to work... this is the line on my theme header

<title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?></title>

should I add  wp_title()?

yes... that is hardcoded and no way for plugins to override...  it simply outputs the blog name... and we cannot alter... pretty crappy too - to just put the same title on every page...

a much more typical thing for a theme to do would be:

<title><?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?></title>

then plugins can adjust as needed...

added, but it shows the page title ("forum") instead of the SP title

should I tell now AIOSEO to exclude forum pages?
