I've been using forums a while, and I don't think I've seen a forum where you hit EDIT on a post, the page refreshes, I try clicking on the post, oops nothing... oh I have to scroll down to another box to edit the post..
Why not just have the edit box be there on refresh. Why show current post, then below (after some scrolling, and this on a 24" monitor) do I find the area I edit in?

scratching my head too...
since that is exactly how it works... you hit edit and the page reloads and takes you right to the edit box.. only the one click needed...
so perhaps a js conflict somewhere on the site so that the scroll to edit box js cannot run...
do you have a link to site? or just check your js console when you try to edit... have the console open before you click the edit button...

no, a js console is included in every browser... its just not something you would use in browsing of sites - its for site developers really...
so, yeah... numerous js errors being thrown on your site... those errors are stopping our js that would scroll to the edit box...
but I must say I see nothing obvious causing them... is this sp 5.3 and wp 3.6?
might be worth going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and trying clearing the combined js cache...
does this happen in any specific browser or just one? have you tried more than one?
