Answers topic - how to get this working?

I've got SP 5.2.2 installed with Default 1.2.1 theme, and Answers Topic plugin version 1.0 installed and activated. However, no buttons appear, and the codex for this plugin looks a little daunting. I have to manually insert the code that is mentioned in the Codex? Or set arguments?

Thanks for any help -- this plugin in particular looks very useful in my setting and would like to get it working if possible.

The newly released SP themes now come with the Answer's Post functions/displays added in. If running a supplied theme you should see the buttons and everything else now. If you want them moved or changed somehow you would want to do that by creating a custom SP theme.

If you already have a custom theme you could use the examples in the supplied theme that matches your theme. In fact if you are running a custom theme but using an un-modified spTopicView.php file you could snag the one out of the supplied theme and try it by saving your old one and replacing it with that one. ;)

"If running a supplied theme you should see the buttons and everything else now."

That's my question. I'm running a supplied theme, but the buttons are not showing.

Yes, I've seen the Codex on this plugin - that's where my initial question came from. It didn't give the answer as to why the buttons are not showing, or what to do to get them to show.
