Any way to hide components of forum without editing the template?

Client wants to hide the 'logged in as' the 'Register' and 'Login' items on the top line of the default layout.

Is it possible to disable components from the admin, or will this have to be done in the template?

It has to be done in the template.
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
