Hi Guys
Earlier i had a problem regarding Gravatars not showing.
and during the troubleshooting of this the following was added to sp-common-view-functions.php
ashow($avatarData->url);
ashow($headers);
afterwards they where commented out.
But now if i re-enable the commands save the file and refresh the webpage, it is not showing $avatarData->url or $headers as it did during troubleshooting.
Do i need to enable "ashow" commands in forum options ?

I need this because i am trying to troubleshoot why I cannot get gravatar Rating X to show.
It has been "ticked" in avatar options, and when i look into wp_sfoptions > sfavatars I can see sfgmaxrating is "4", and this value changes if i change rating in options.
So i would like to get avatar data URL to verify received url.

the ashow() function is always available. I use it - probably - daily!
Where are you using it within the code?

they just work.. but of course, they need data to show... are you sure those variables exist where you have ashow?
ashow just means display the object or variable...

Hmm That is wierd then, because they are still same place as where you put during last trouble shooting.
And there is data in the variables, since the avatar is showing.
Any ideas ? could it be a server setting ?

I am sorry but I really do have no idea. I have been using then just this morning all over the code with no trouble and use them daily. I know of no server setting that could possibly effect these tools. Have you tried the php built in echo and print_r statements instead? That is all these functions do - call the php functions with a little bit of formatting...

Okay, I've found out that Gravatar cache, changes value/data for thoose fields i wanted to get data from.
After disabling the plugin, i get the expected data.
But now i still have the issue of Gravatars with only rating X or R are not showing.
It has been "ticked" in avatar options, and when i look into wp_sfoptions > sfavatars I can see sfgmaxrating is "4", and this value changes if i change rating in options.
But gravatars with ratings other than PG are not showing.
Any ideas would be appriciated.

yes, why I had asked you to disable that plugin previously when I was working...
what do you mean not showing? what avatar do you get? please post the url to such an avatar...

when looking at avatar URL it shows :
And i can see the gravatar when cliking the link, But avatar is not showing in forum/profile.
The gravatar is working fine in my Wordpress site.

sorry, not following... what are you seeing for the avatar? error? blank? default?
