Do we have this feature yet on Simple-press that allows the admin to set autoreminder emails to be sent to the users to  encourage them to post on the forums. For example, if a registered user doesn't post on the forum for 10 or 20 days, he'll be sent this auto email "Do you have any questions?" "Post a question for free on our forums". This helps in increasing forum enagagement.  Phpbb has this option and i was wondering if we can do this in Simple Press.

Thanks Andy. It'd be awesome if we can have this as a plugin. And in the automatic email that gets sent, do give the users the option to unsubscribe so that they can choose to not receive such automatic emails if they wish.

Overall, I think that even if we can have a couple of more users posting on our forums as a result of each reminder, it'd be worth it because More content means More traffic which means Yet more users.

Thanks again!

Well I have added it to my list but as this is the first such request and there are others requested by larger numbers I wouldn't dare suggest when it might happen... At least coded from us.

Hahaha. It is like an after statement so people find it funny. Liked your response to your son's statement. Can't stop laughing!
