Hi.

Is there a way that people can be automatically be notified of new topics/posts without have to use the subscribe button? Our client base is already struggling to use the forum (a lot of them aren't tech savvy) so my client wants a way that they are automatically notified (like I do as a moderator).

that's what subscriptions are... notifications of updates... they can subscribe to a forum so they will get notified of any new posts... but its still an opt in system where they have to take the first step... a one time step to subscribe to forum(s)... we dont do any opt out type stuff - not as nice for users...
