Hi- Is there an option to have my forum members automatically receive an email letting them know there is a new post/topic in my forum. I know they can personally set up email notification for a topic - but can I set an option up to automatically do this, whether they have personally enabled that option or not?

you can set them up to automatically subscribe to topics they post in.. but not any new topic..
they can also subscribe to all forums to receive notices of any new posts... the only way you can configure it though is by editing their forum profile and subscribing them to all forums...
its possible through forum hooks to make it happen an new user creation, but you will need to write some small code for the hook..
