Automatically Open Links in a New Window/Tab

I was wondering if there was a way to have links and URLs that are in posts in the forum to automatically open up in a new window/tab? I was told by a user that it through her off to click on a link in the middle of a post and be taken away from the site even though she hadn't finished reading the full post yet.

Thanks!

You need to set the options you want in the forum admin > Options > Content settings. See the 'post links filtering'.

Hmmm, weird. it's already set there but for some reason it's still opening on the same page. You can see a link here: http://www.thechinastep.com/fo.....n-tickets/ and the screen shot of the settings attached

interesting...  looks like perhpas if the link is entered directly as text, the function that makes it clickable (ie a link) is not following the target rule in settings...

was able to duplicate in a test... so have opened up a ticket and will get it fixed in the next version...
