You need to use an intermediary role plugin. This is explained here: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ip-plugin/

Can someone confirm if you don't do like in the FAQ message YS mentioned, Wishlist people do not get their automated generated username and password, and also the AWeber API doesn't connect.?

we cant answer wishlist to aweber question...  that FAQ tells you how to make a user that gets a wishlist level get membership in a specific sp user group with desired permissions..

Do you know someone who could help me setting this up using Teamviewer, because I totally lost it. I can't get it straight in my head with all permissions, wp roles, user groups, wishlist levels etc etc.

This is urgent, because my membership forum is wide open right now.

when you create levels in wishlist, you can tie it to a specific wp role...  make sure they are unique roles for each wishlist level...

then you can tell SP that you want each wp role to map to a specific sp usergroup...  so you can get a 1 to 1 mapping between  your wishlist levels and sp usergroups...

that easily allows you to control access and permissions for each sp usergroup...  just give each usergroup the permission set you want by marrying the two up on the forum...

Ok, I have done something and that is create a new user with kind op duplicate name "CPVDUDE1"

The original CPVDUDE I deleted and assigned all post to CPVDUDE1, after that because you can't do it in WP, I logged in into PHPMyAdmin and changed the CPVDUDE1 username back to CPVDUDE.

All forum posts are there, except I can't ad an avatar, and I am getting this message:

Profile form could not be found: [Account Settings]
You might try the forum - toolbox - housekeeping admin form and reset the profile tabs and menus and see if that helps.

Is there a way to solve this?

Yes, it looks like it is working, but all my current members are now in the guest usergroup, so i have to manaully move them to their real usergroups, nice task for someone @ oDesk.

Is there someone from the support team out there that can set it right when i give you admin access.

This thing ruining my day.

I prommised my members to reopen the forum, but because I don't understand what is going on, I can't get the totale picture. The plan was to reopen last monday..but days goes by without any progress.

Due to that I am also missing income.

So please can I send admin details to Mr Papa?
