Hi,
Since the last update the avatar for the admin is gone, it shows now only the default admin icon.
The WP user profile shows the avatar ( fetched from Gravatar )
Is there anything I can do to show the same avatar again on the forum ?

Additional... are you using the gravatar cache plugin and, if so, have you updated to the new version? And if you have - have you opened the forum admin at all as that migit be necessary

just to follow up on Andy's point, if a plugin, ie gravatar cache, needs an update, it cannot be initiated until a forum admin panel has been visited... so visiting one would kick off the upgrade...

Don't have a gravatar cache plugin, it's only the admin user ( me ) without an avatar. From all the other users it fetch the avatar from Facebook.

From FaceBook? How does it do that out of curiousity?
Have you tried the refresh button on your SP profile form > Avatar Tab?

Did try the refresh, but not working.
In WP we use the Nextend Facebook Connect plugin, so our users can use the option connect via Facebook and it will fetch the profile picture from FB to there WP and Simple:Press profile.

interesting - have not heard of that one before... must tie into the wp avatar?
so on forum - profile - avatar options, what are the avatar priorities? and what do you have selected for replace wp avatar with sp?

In the user list on WP all the avatars are present from FB, think they stored locally and those will be used in SP
See screenshot for the FB login ( the FB button is not so nice, needs to replace that one )
In the SP profile the priorities are:
- From gravatar.com
- Uploaded Avatar
- Forum Default Avatar

I am not really sure what to say. There were some changes to our Gravatar Cache plugin in version 5.7.1 (which you say you are not using) but no core changes in this area for many, many updates. And Gravatar fetches seem perfectly stable here in out best test site!
Have you double checked your email address as logged in your forum profile visited gravatar.com with that address to ensure all is well at their end? it might be worth a refresh...
