avatar problems

the order of avatars to be displayed is fine, my account has an email address associated with a gravatar and yet, I, the admin, have a default avatar 🙁
all other user's avatars seem to work. disabling the gravatar cache plugin fixes the problem. what is wrong? nothing in my error logs concerning gravatars...

It could simply have been that when it first recorded it gravatar.com was not available or timed out. If you reactivate the cache plugin and go to the toolbox > housekeeping and reset that gravatar cache does that now resolve to your gravtar?
