It's strange, only occurs in Chrome. Now, the default avatars Gravatar are displayed, since I installed the plugin Gravatar for Simple:Press. Uninstalling the plugin, continue seeing the Gravatar avatars, always talking about Chrome.
Before installing this Gravatar plugin, basic WordPress avatars are showed, regardless of the options that I have put in the forum or WordPress.
I attached pictures so you can see the problem, also of the options that I have selected in WordPress and Simple: Press. Thanks!

Please look at the first picture I attached:
It's very simple: On the left it is how it looks on any browser other than Chrome. On the right, in Chrome. It does not happen to everyone. For example, the error happens to me with the latest version of Chrome, with all updated, and many others who have complained.
Not really sure how we can help with this . We do not do anything that is browser specific. It just looks to me from that that Chrome is not talking to the gravatr.com website properly but it is not anything we do in SP. All browsers use the same code. ~Would this not be better as a question aimed at Chrome/Google?

It puts the Gravatar avatars because Gravatar is the first after the avatars of SimplePress, not catch them. If I change and put in the options the WP generics first, then puts first the generic avatars of WordpRess.
If I will not ask you for an error that occurs with SimplePress and Chrome, who do I ask? I can not ask Chrome, because they do not even know or what is SimplePress. Also it seems to SimplePress mistake; it is more logical that you investigate it, because it is the most widely used browser. We are talking about chrome...
With great sadness I have to say that in one moth of support, you have not solved any problem... SimplePress seems to me the best solution for integrating a forum with WordPress, but have paid support is by far the worst solution. No community to help each other, and the support you offer is always limited to cases that you have seen, without going beyond...
Thanks...
I am sorry but how can I possibly investigate something that only happens to one user? You said yourself that Chrome is extremely popular. I use it myself as my browser of choice. I do NOT have this problem and nor does anyone else. It is a unique report. When a unique report comes in like this we have to look at that users environment as the probable culprit. it is not a Simple:Press problem. If it were it would happen to all Chrome users.
I also think you are being somewhat unjust in your critique. You have raised 4 other issues beside this one. One was down to a a reluctance of what 2 years + to upgrade the plugin? To run an old version on a WordPress version that was way in front of it? The next was to do with an Ajax Logon plugin that once again I tried and could find no conflict with - except for the fact that it WAS causing scripting errors.
I do not even know what happened to the 'buddies' table issue because you did not come back to talk to us. And as far as the Tapatalk question goes then you are simply asking the wrong people as that question needs to be asked of the Tapatalk team.
I do not say we get everything right - we all make mistakes from time to time - we all miss clues. But I see nothing in our history with you as a user to suggest we have let you down in any way. I am often sitting here at midnight on a Sunday responding to peoples propblems and querstions. And at 6 the next morning. We all do our best and take issues very seriously.
Now back to this issue. There is nothing wrong or different about the way we respond to the Chrome browser. It works fine for me and for all other users. So it has to be - can ONLY be - a local issue in your environment or setup. And I quite honestly and clearly can not solve that
