Hello Team,
I have a strange issue on my side http://www.esportindustry.com. The backend is not working. Pretty much all pages do not load. The site works, the rest of wordpress works, the forum works, but not the settings for Simple Press. I actually cannot tell how long this is the case, as the site pretty much yet operates in kinda shadow mode and thus still is very low populated.
What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

Hmm I ran an optimization of the database with WP-Sweep and now it works. Pretty awkward with such small site? :/

Database repair and optimisation is an under-discussed and under-recommended action. MySQL databases can enter a state of disarray quite easily if not looked after which sounds like the case you describe. It has nothing to do with the size of the database or the website but everything to do with the level of activity and the way the DB is configured.
We always recommend regular optimisations - weekly is good. WP-Sweep sounds good but if it does not schedule you might want to look at WP DB-Manager by the same author which you can set up with a schedule and just leave to do its thing.
