Hello !
I'm using the recent posts widget, with Avatars size set to 35px and today I notice something strange :
an avatar appears with a bigger size (50px)
I really don't understand what happens, it seems to occur with only 1 member (for now...), but I can't explain that.
Could you please help me to solve that ?
I attach screenshots, but you can see it in real on my website : http://nailissima.com
Thank you in advance !
Sorry.... I am looking now and of course that users posts have slipped out of the list and currently all looks good.
I can confirm, at least in your site home page, that there is no CSS being adopted that overrules the 35px setting so there should not be any anomaly.
Can you let us know when this happens again and hopefully if someone is manning the posts we might be quick enough to visit and see it in action....

was the avatar a gravatar?? it might be a cached gravatar... are you using that plugin?

Hi !
It's not gravatar, just an uploaded avatar like all the other members....
Lady has just posted nom new content on my forum, so you can see the bug if you connect right now.
If necessary, I displayed the source code of the page, and copied the section concerning the recent posts widget. See below...
It's very strange because my avatar (Myriam) and all the other avatars has the properties :
class='spAvatar' style='max-width: 35px' alt=''
But Lady's avatar has only :
class='spAvatar' alt=''
Quite strange because the recent posts widget's content is certainly generated by a loop, so the code should be the same for all the forum items...
Sorry for the edit but when I paste the complete code using the raw code tag, It doesn't work and shows the result instead of the code... I tried to save it in a .txt file but I can't add it as an attachment (file extension error)
So, finally you can download it here : http://nailissima.com/rpw-nailissima.txt
It's OK - I have visited the site and seen the output.... and most strange it is. I see both avatars here come from the same source - same folder and - excuse my ignorance - but these are both buddypress icons - is that right?
Just for the record - can you tell me what your avatar priorities are set to in the profile > avatars admin panel?

Hello, thank you for your answer...
So, yes, those are both Buddypress icons.
In the priorities, I have :
- Gravatars
- Downloaded avatars
- SP default avatars
- Wp Avatars
- Groups avatars
- Delete avatars
(re-translated from french so don't worry if it's not the exact denominations used in the original english version).
And (if ever you need it) in Components -> Buddypress -> Avatars, I set "Use BuddyPress avatars for all"
