So we recently switched to the Barebones theme, which fixed a LOAD of forum issues. I guess all our previous problems were related to Reboot, but that's all working now.
The only thing I've noticed... is it doesn't appear the glyphs for barebones are loading correctly. Not sure why. http://bluedrake42.com/communi.....ge-2/#p371
I mean... I guess since they're glyphs, we need to pick the right fonts that have them available? I don't know. Right now they're just boxes.
I do not know, of course, what forum errors you mean but a theme by itself can't really cause much mayhem other than possible styling.
However - your website is throwing a lot of server 500 errors when pages load - including, on the forum page, this one:
"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://bluedrake42.com/wp-cont.....off?neh1es"
and another for the barebones.ttf file as well. So I guess you should start by taking a look to make sure these files are installed correctly. And personally I have no idea what that '?neh1es' is on the end of the http request for the font file! Does anyone know?
If you take a look using your web console (https://simple-press.com/docum.....r-console/) you will see the errors reported.

I mean I don't really know, Papa brought up that there were a lot of loading issues as well... but I'm not really sure what you all are looking at, since the site itself seems to load just fine for me and everyone else. Unless you all are trying to load like... backend stuff that I don't know about?
I agree I don't know why a theme would cause so much mayhem, but switching off of it absolutely fixed the errors we were having. Before it wasn't possible to add users to a composed message, and there were a lot of strange issues with fields being too large (or small) on settings pages.
I was suggesting you deactivate it to see if the error went away. If they do - and they most likely will as it seems to be the root cause of them - then at least you could go back to the authors and ask them how to fix things.
And sorry to repeat myself but you have still not responded to my question regarding the font files being present.

No problem not understanding, hopefully I can explain it a little more straight forward. The network error pointing to the Barebones font needs to be checked as it should have installed with the theme / install, but since you're getting an error pointing to it, you need to just make sure it exists.
Please take a look in:
wp-content > sp-resources > forum-themes > barebones > styles > fonts >
Just to make sure barebones.ttf exists.
