Hello everyone,
what is the best location to install SimplePress?
1. Main domain http://www.site.com
2. Subdomain http://www.forum.site.com
3. By creating a subfolder http://www.site.com/forum & installing a separate WP in that folder
My concern is that in a short period of time my forum will have much more information & traffic than the rest of my website.
With 100 people (for example) being online on my forum at the same time - how will it affect the speed of the rest of my website ?
If there is an error in SP plugin after an upgrade, in which of the 3 options it would be easier to fix it ?

main domain is my preference... better for all that you mention... having 2 wp installs will be more server overhead than having it all in one... so your non forum wp would be slower (one may not notice it) than all with one wp install...
