Well the first thing to say is that 'Only after reloading this blank page mit F5 I get the logout message if I really want to logout" is not a common feature of WP. It does not ask such a question - which suggests you might be using some sort of login/logout plugin perhaps?
Login/logout/registration are all pure WordPress as far as Sp is concerned. They are NOT SP functions. But on our Login/registration admin panel we do offer the option for you to specify a redirect which i then passed on to WP so this might be what you need to set.

I already tried this option, but it did not work. Actually, in the meantime the situation worsened. I cannot even open the forum page. Just a blank page. http://pensta.net
First, I could get a workaround by login in as admin and then within the forum plugin clicking the button "go to forum". This would call up again the forum. This does however not work anymore. I will reinstall SP.
Yes, I did, but only hardcoded text strings, which are not included in the mo-files, which are quite a number to my surprise (which should be fixed to allow complete localization of sp). But this should not result in this behaviour. Anyway, I deinstalled SP being aware there is a problem and I will now document every step I make.
To make sure there is no old code left, it did the following:
- Deleted the sp plugin from the admin page of wp (assuming that this will delete also anything in the mysql database, which might be related to sp)
- Deleted on the server the following two folders (inlcuding subfolder of course):
wp-content/sp-resources
wp-content/plugins/simple-press
After that I reinstalled sp. After login as admin to the forum and logging out, again the same error. Blank page. Nothing loaded. After reload with f5 the logout message appears. After clicking the logging out link the home page appears.
This is now a real surprise. I did not change anything in wp, which might cause this error (as you indicated that you use the wp-logout routine).
This would indicate to me that there was still some old stuff left after the deinstallation of sp and it must be in the mysql database if I have not overlooked a folder as I deleted sp from the server.
I would also indicate that this is somehow related to a wp problem, but I definitively did not touch wp at all. Must likely sp did write something in a wp-table, which remained there after the deinstallation of sp.
Btw, first I had only a blank page after the logout. Later I was not even able to load the forum (the problem you noticed). Between these two errors I did not change anything in the code.
A clue to the solution:
When I logout from the forum and I get a blank page the following address is given:
http://pensta.net/wp-login.php.....622ec5deb2
When I delete "&_wpnonce=622ec5deb2" and reload the page the proper logout message page appears.
what version of wp??? current versions require the nonce - older versions do not... and to run sp 5.0, you must be on wp 3.3+...
