Blog post images with captions not showing in forum post

I use the Blog Post Linking plugin to link blog posts to the forum. It works perfectly apart from when the blog post images have captions. In those cases the images don’t show in the forum post at all. Here is an example. You can see that the two images without captions appear on the forum post but the one which has a caption is missing. Can I do anything to resolve this issue?

Oh dear. We had this happen once before – many, many versions ago – and solved it. I can only assume that WordPress has changed the way they do the captions and we hadn;t run across that change. I apologise – we had no idea.

The only way to correct it is manually I am afraid – i..e edit the forum post and insert the pictures. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

I will, of course, open a bug report straightaway and get this investigated and fixed so that we can get an update out as soon as we can.

This will probably be mine to look into and I am very soon about to go on vacation. If I can fit it in before then I will but it might otherwise take a while I am afraid,.
