They say that these are unsolicited ( not true )
They say that the main problem is that it's missing an automatic opt-out link - can SP add this easily by setting?
See below:

Here is what they sent:
"Here is an example of the report we received, the main problem is that it's missing an automatic opt-out link:

Sorry - are the saying that they received a complaint from someone?
The problem here is that they are NOT unsolicited. Assuming these are a subscription notification email then the end user has specifically opted IN to having them sent. If they don't want them they can turn them off at any time they want.

Yes, they say they received a complaint.
I agree with you - it's a members only forum, and the emails can't be unsolicited.
But, the forum has some pretty non-tech savvy members, and it's possible that they just want to complain, and not know how to turn the emails off.
Bluehost suggested this:
"You could implement some type of software from your phpmailer script to add the opt in and opt out link.
I found this after a quick google search.
http://php.software.informer.c.....pt-in-out/"
But, couldn't there be a simple setting in SimplePress to include this kind of link in emails... even if it was just an easier way to control your email preferences?
Thanks again for a great product.
suggestion: get a good host jk...
but the root of the problem here is that someone opted in and cant figure out how to opt out? sheesh...
but not an all bad suggestion... I will open a ticket for adding a link to their profile subscriptions so they can unsubscribe....
