Good afternoon,

My customer has contacted me today to inform me that all the RSS feeds running from his forum topics have stopped working, I have called up the RSS widget and re-entered the feed URL and I am receiving this error:

RSS Error: A feed could not be found at http://www.sitename.co.uk/disc.....50833d5089. A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed.

Have you seen this before? Could you offer advice on how to amend it, if I am to use force_feed() do I put this at the beginning, end or do I put the feed between the ( )

Look forward to your reply.

Afraid I am going to ask that age-old question but, perhaps, the most important one. What has changed? If they worked and then 'stopped working' - something must have changed. I would suggest this to be the critical path....

Having said that - and also noting that we have no other outstanding reports of problems with RSS feeds - do you also experience problems when using a proper feed reader as opposed to a WP widget? And where does the widget come from? Has THAT changed perhaps?

Appologies for never replying to your post, I think I missed your reply.

I am pretty confident the conflict was with the All in One Security plugin, in case this is helpful to anyone else.

Not one I have come across but on the whole the so-called 'security' plugins I have encountered often cause many problems...
