Bug - New Post/Thread Hang

It appears that whenever a new topic is made everything will go through just fine, but I'm finding myself stuck on a white page as if the code has forgotten to finish up the process. The same goes for replying to posts as well. Not sure if anyone else has run into this, but either hitting back or returning going to the forum url works fine. The post/thread just created will show just fine also.

It's basically not adding the page for the forum into the url. Not sure if that's something I've done, but it's just what i've noticed today once I managed to update all the fines from the SVN. Worked fine before on the previous set of files I had.

hmmm… cant seem to duplicate… can post just fine…

have you looked into your server and php error logs for more info as to what might be happening?

sp default theme?  any sp plugins active? which editor?  if tinymce, can you uninstall that plugin and reactivate/install it? I know andy changed the init at one point – dont know if its related or not…

I will see if any plugin-ins are causing a conflict. I activated one plug-in last night which locked me out of the whole site, will post that as a separate bug once I find out which one it was.

It appears that plug-in's have no affect over this issue what so ever. I've tried them without and with. I even removed them from the directory for a short but it seems the same results are still happening. Also as you asked before I am currently using the default theme.

This error has popped up though in the log:

[05-Jul-2011 16:38:24] PHP Warning:  Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /root/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/editor/sp-text-editor.php:49) in /root/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

Not sure if that's something on my setup, or if it's down to the script.

I updated my SVN files just before I tested all these things out. It happened last night, but I did another update this morning before testing just to make sure it wasn't just me doing something wrong.

yeah, SVN is very new to me, but I've picked it up fairly quick as it's not really that hard. It's just getting used to how it works and finding an application that works for you. I've had a further dig around in all my settings and i can't see anything that looks out of place or why I'm getting this why page issue.

I wish I could say it fixed the issue, but sadly it hasn't. It popped up with this error in the php log again:

[05-Jul-2011 23:29:29] PHP Warning:  Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /root/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/editor/sp-text-editor.php:51) in /root/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

Here are the general stats from my server so you can see my versions:

Wordpress Version: 3.2
MySQL Version: 5.5.9
PHP Version: 5.3.5
Apache Version: 2.0.64

I'm not sure if this information is that useful, but it may be of some use somewhere down the line. From what I can tell though, it looks like it's just skipping the page name from the url once submitted. So it just things /wordpress/ is the root page for the forum.

when you try to save a post?  weird...

and if you go to forum - integration - page and permalink, the permalink for the forum looks right?

sadly, andy is gone for the night (in the UK), so will be AM before he gets a chance to look at this further...

is this on local machine or is it accessible from the net?
