Heyo,

I just want to inform you about some bugs I discovered while using Simple:Press 5.0. Furthermore, I would like to make a few suggestions.

Bugs

  • The Simple:Press, customizable Mailer doesn't work for me. Although I've activated the Simple:Press Mailer, the users just receive the WordPress generated email.
  • I've deleted some "testmembers" yesterday and these accounts weren't subtracted in the Member Stats. Still the same count as before.

Suggestions

Hardly worth mentioning, but the following suggestions might improve Simple:Press, in my opinion.

  • I would replace User in "Last Topics User Started" with the users username. laugh E.g. "Last Topic Alex1224 Started".
  • It would be nice, if I could create my own Iconsets for the very small icons (e.g. Login-, Members-, or Profilebutton) like for groups and forums. So I wouldn't have to replace the default icons.
  • Prefixes for forums

Keep up the good work!

Regards

the topic status does indeed allow you to set prefixes for topics like that... by default its not exposed to users but you can change the permission to allow it... but that would also allow anyone to change it... didnt say it was exact... 😉

so when you look at number of rows in sfmembers? should be the same number...

are other stats updating? did you check for the cron task?

you need to go into your wp database... look at the number of rows in the sfmembers table... does that match the number of users?

in the wp options table in the database, there is an option called cron... it contains all the cron tasks... but if the other stats are updating, its probably in there...

Yes, it matches the wp_users table. Okay, then it's obviously caused by WordPress. Before I changed to WordPress 3.3 b4 the counter worked fine. Curious.

And: Where can I find plugins for SP 5.0?

Curious all the same....

The SP plugins are available on the beta download page where SP itself was downloaded from.
