Support Forum
I have four products - My postnatal depression (PND) program, my stress free parenting program, Be the change program and relationship program.
Each one of these programs will have access to forum support.
Is there a way that I can set permissions up so a member of one program can only have access to their purchased product's forum? (I am using wishlist sequential upgrade and content scheduler).
And if they buy multiple products, can they then have access to multiple forums?
For example, if someone purchased the Postnatal depression program, is there a way that I can assign access only to the PND part of the forum and nothing else?
And if that PND participant also bought the BE the change program, is there a way to then allow them access to both sections of the forum (PND & BE the change), but no other areas?
Is there a way to automate this process too?
I know this is complicated, however it would be good if I could do it.
Your thoughts or ways around this?
Regards
Jackie
yes, simple press permissions system works with wishlist - we use them here...
see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ip-plugin/ for some pointers... its all about matching a wishlist level to a unique wp role... then each role can map to a sp usergroup and get the specific permissions/accesses that you want...

Can it work if they are signed up to multiple levels? Can they get access to certain parts per level?
for example, I have a BE the Change webinar that has a designated forum and a Stress Free parenting section of the forum. If they are signed up to both of them I'd like them to have access to both of them but not other parts of the forum (for example, they may not be a part of my PND membership level and thus shouldn't have access to the PND part of the forum).

Do you guys have a service where by you can take a look at my forum to help me with this set up?Do you mean 'manual' in terms of setting it up to begin with, or continual manual manipulation everytime a user signs up?
I would be glad to help. I am a little busy for the next week but can look into it afterwards. Just PM me with details.
