I've had a question from a forum member (http://sensibility.com/communi.....sage-forum) that has me stumped. How can she set up her timezone in her profile? I don't see any option to do this, yet the lower left-hand side of the forum says "Your Timezone," while the lower right-hand side says "Forum Timezone." Seems like that means users can set a timezone. How do they do this?

first, you as the server owner should set up a proper timezone in the wp settings... and pick a timezone, not a UTC offset...
then each user can set their own timezone in their sp profile... in the options tab, the edit display options menu... there is a timezone select in that form...

Yep, we already figured out how to set timezones. Just took some poking around in the profiles. I'll see about resetting my timezone in WP settings. Didn't realize I'd need to do that.

its from pre php 5... timezone strings were not really that well done so wp added this utc offset thing... but then it didnt move well to php 5 where timezone strings are fully functional...
let us know how you make out...

Piece of cake. Set my time zone for WP to my nearest city, so now my time zone matches my forum's time zone.
