I've set admin to 1 in iropisfmembers for user_id = 4

I get a very restricted set of options in WP for the Forum plugin 

The below screenshot is what I see...

if I set all rows to admin = 0 in in iropisfmembers (so that I have no SP admins - but only WP admins) I get the below screen which is what I want.

One other thing -  through another plugin Admin Menu Editor - the menu in the left column of WP changes from Course Forum (with admin set to 1) to Forum (with admin set to 0) - actually as I type this - I realise that this was probably the issue - I deactivated that plugin as well as another Advanced Access Manager - Hey presto it works now...  Thanks a lot for your help - I got there in the end.
