Sorry can't find My last postbut I think I have isolated the problem.

If I add an image as admin it is visible to all - http://theblackpigsdomain.com/.....wallpapers

However If I post an image as a member  all I get is the jpg name of the image - http://theblackpigsdomain.com/.....wallpapers

How do I correct this please ?

Did you check the permisssions on the server as requested in your other thread?  to find it, just look at advanced search and click one of the buttons topics I posted in or topics I started...

still looks like some kind of server permissions set up...  Simple Press does not do any permission checks based on users...  that means, if you can see it, anyone else can see it...  from a sp perspective at least...

also, out of curiosity, what is your php setting for allow_fopen_url?

First of all apologies Mr Papa, somehow missed your last post.

Looking at permissions (I don't know much about them)

The following folders are set at 705 -  wp-admin, wp-content,wp-includes and sp-resources

All folders inside the three wp folders are also set at 705

All folders INSIDE sp-resources are set at 755

I have no idea how to verify owner (uid & gid) or how to find  php setting for allow_url_fopen

That alone could be the  source of the problem. I believe that even if the folders inside wp-content are set to 755, the permissions for the parent wp-content will be more persuasive.

As a general rule the best settings for ALL folders from wp-content down through it's sub-folders is 755. And for files it would be 644.

I would try this change first and then if users other than you (the website 'owner') can still not see the images we will look at the UID/GUID but we can save that for now!
