Support Forum
Hi,
I just installed Simple:Press and of course there are difficulties as with any new software. Probably just some configuration tweaks. Anyhow, here are the questions.
1) I cannot add a new topic. When I attempt to add a new topic nothing happens. A hover over the button brings up the following code Javascript:void(null). All other buttons seem to work.
2) The Options, Usergroups, and Permissions tabs on the Profile section bring up a unformatted white page. All button functionality appears to not be in working order.
The site in question is http://www.laudanumonline.com
I have changed my theme to Twentyten to see if the theme is causing problems. The same problems occur.
please see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/
that is improper loading of jquery from the theme rather than the copy that ships with WP...
Now, I know you said you switched to the default wp theme and still had the issue... but right now, getting lots of js errors so its really hard to tell what might be going on... and that incorrect version of jquery is a recipe for problems... when you switched, did you clear your browser cache?
you might try going to forum - integration - page and permalink and try loading the forum js in the footer... and on the same page, you could try the option for strict wp api...
