another potential option is to use the Plugin Organizer plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/.....organizer/) and disable except on the pages needed..

I tried that plugin. Problem for me was, links in the nav menu go with the plugin I wanted to disable for the forums. So when you went to the forums, some menu tabs wouldn't work
. Kinda need my main menu for every page on the site.
I even tried to disable their bootstrap for the forums.
In the end it was like a lightbulb
went off, just get a better bootstrap for the site itself and turn theirs off. And it worked. Only took about 6 hours to figure it out
