Everytime I embed a youtube video on a post the "allowfullscreen" attribute gets stripped off the iframe code, this disables anyone from viewing the video in fullscreen. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

No - just fine.
So are you using the proper what they call 'Share' code - which WordPress picks up and automatically works with? (And not the 'embed' code which it doesn't)

Im using youtube embed code with the video share button on my TinyMCE editor. Can you give me more information on the correct way of sharing a video.

Actually I got it figured out. Its really misleading having that video share button.

Your video share button is, I am assuming, being put there by some plugin you are using. We don't have one by default on the forum version of the editor. So you should be able to remove it if you want to.
Plus - any plugin that adds such functionality to the editor really should be using the 'share' code not the 'embed' code so that it is properly supported by WordPress itself.
