i write the email to go to the membership, and the only option presented is to preview, and then when i preview, the only option is to go back and edit. I can't find a live send button anywhere. Thanks in advance.

sorry, what are you talking about?  send an email?   We dont have a way to send emails to users - this is a forum plugin...

if its something you are trying to do in the forum, please explain further what you are trying to do....
