I've searched and I can't find an area to turn Topic Tags on.  In the previous versions, there was an selection in Edit Forum to turn tags on. There were certain forums we were using tags as categories, now those categories aren't working.

Help!

Did you download and install the SP tags plugin?

Thanks!  No that was not downloaded.  Most everything seems to be working now except we cannot Edit Topic Tag.  The onclick does not do anything.

I found this in the Error Log:

March 7, 2012

2:16 pm    database    file: /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/suzannem/public_html/citr/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/tags/sp-tags-plugin.php

line: 91

function: sp_tags_do_install

error: Duplicate column name 'use_tags'

ALTER TABLE sm_sfforums ADD (use_tags smallint(1) NOT NULL default "1")

And this from the onclick:

<a onclick="spjDialogAjax(this, 'http://chickensintheroad.com/index.php?sp_ahah=tags-ahah&action=edit-tags&sfnonce=f906c1e8e5&topicid=4257&topicname=Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens', 'Edit topic tags', 400, 0, 'center');" href="javascript:void(null)" rel="nofollow">Edit topic tags</a>

Will the error prevent the onclick from working?  Is the onclick command correct?

the first ones are harmless...

the js error may not be...

how are you editing the topic tags?  assume from the forum tools on the forum view?

does it do it for all topics? or just this one?  asking because this topic seems to have a ' (single quote) in the topic name...  curious if that is related...

Yes, it was through the forum tools.  I edited the topic title taking out the apostrophe.  Now it works.  Edit Topic Tag was the only command that was affected by this though.

Hi,

I have a problem with mass tags editing . If I want to mass edit tags, I can do it only for the first twenty of topics. If I navigate to the next page (the second twenty of topics), the "Update" button will disappear. What do I wrong? Thanks

Parenthesis don't seem to work either...all the other special characters we've tried have worked, just not parenthesis or quotes.
