Can't make any changes or remove "topic print" notice

When I try to remove the notice nothing happens, I also noticed that I can't make any changes, everything I press just brings me back to the top. None of the menu items work within SP admin, I can use the main buttons to move between sections but any option I click under one of the sections just returns me to the top of the admin section where the notice is.

Sorry, the notice is for the "print topic" option, I figured everyone got the notice at the same time.

I can't make any changes at all to my forum, any menu item I click on returns me back to the top of my admin page.

I've attached a pic of the notice, I can't remove it, clicking on remove doesn't do anything.

oh, the latest simple press news display...

No, every one does not get them at same time...  and its just periodic news that we display...  nothing new in the news messages either...  been around for couple years at least now...

thus far, no other reports of issues with the news..  nothing has changed in the delivery, but this message is the latest one that would be going out...

but you are saying nothing else in the admin works either???

any errors shown in the browser console?

I'm assuming you mean the javascript console?

If so, all I see is "Uncaught ReferenceError: _ is not defined"

It appears to be referencing the spa-forums php file

All I see when I pull up the error is the picture below.

I'm not a coder so I could be looking in the wrong place.

Is this a new, recent problem? If so can you tell us what has changed please?

And are you running JetPack with the stats turned on?

Using jetpack stats?  If so try disabling just the stats module momentarily.

Hey fellas, turning off stats in Jetpack fixed it, thanks! How did you figure that was the issue from the pictures I posted? Or have you had issues with jetpack stats in general in the past?

Went through that a couple of weeks back.

I have since dumped JetPack and went with Google Analytics for my stats. A much better stats option and if your using CloudFlare for DNS just put your analytics ID in the settings it will track everything including error pages.

Regards, Ed

Yeah, I actually use Google Analytics as well, I just liked being able to quickly see stats in the dashboard. But I'll definitely refrain from using it on this site at least since it seems to cause issues with other functionality.

Thanks again.
