Support Forum
the only thing I notice right off is an error trying to find a js file:
"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://forums.shopcreator.com/...../script.js"
so either the wp theme or another plugin js is adding that include to the forum page and it wont be found... any idea what might be doing that...
so first, verify what Andy asked... and it still problem, can you try a quick temp change to the default wp theme and see if it functions any better? just trying to narrow down things...

Thanks for your responses guys.
Definitely looking in the right place, I'm able to see it on other Simple Press forums that people have setup, but nothing appears for me. I've tried in IE(9)/Chrome/Firefox. Also logged in as an admin.
The only other plugin we're running is BM Custom Login which is sometihng I added after I'd made the posting on this forum. I've disabled it now, but still no sign of the toolset.
I've tried upgrading to 5.0.3 and also asked our design guy to remove the dependency on script.js but the issue still remains. We're still running the default wordpress theme as such but have made modifications to it. Is there anything else you can think of now that the other plugin has been disabled and the script.js depednacy should be resolved?
Thanks again
Hang on - last time I looked at your site I was looking at the script loading and it looks like I missed something.
I believe you will find that your WP theme is not making the mandatory call to wp_footer() which is a WP requirement and one that plugins make frequent use of. Can you check for that? It would usually be - at least in standard themes - in the footer.php file - most usually at the end.
