admins cannot belong to user groups... why? because user groups are combined with permissions to limit access for the users... even with all permissions granted, they are still more restrictive than admins get... essentially, admins can do anything on the front end...
why would you want to put an admin in a user group? just trying to understand your use case...

Oh just because one particular usergroup has a badge I'd like to assign. I guess I can just assign a Special Rank to that administrator with the same badge.
That leads me onto my next question - can I assign certain Special Ranks priority over others? Let's say I assign a user two Special Ranks; is it possible to make one badge show before the other?
Thanks for all the help Mr Papa!
Yes, for admins, use the special ranks...
The ranks don't have priority per se... But the first assigned one will show first....

I cant actually replicate that. It looks to me like they are assigned to a user working through the special ranks list top to bottom. Is that what you see?
Not quite - for me they are assigned from bottom to top. I'll have to verify it later.
If that is true, then a great feature would be the ability to prioritize/number each Usergroup and Special Rank.

i can see how ordering would be useful. Please do confirm the sequence you see.
Alright, so membership badges are shown from newest assigned (top) to oldest assigned (bottom). A great feature would be to allow ordering with numbers for usergroups; basically a way to assign priority.
And I'm actually not sure how special ranks are applied. I think it may be the first special rank in the list shows first. A priority feature there would be helpful too!
