After looking into it a bit more, a normal member is able to reply just fine, its only the admin role where the "Add Reply" button doesn't execute. If it were a javascript conflict it would be a more universal issue than being isolated to just the admin role. Please advise. I can send you a login and the url of the forum on a back channel, but for obvious reasons I wouldn't want to share it here.

But something - and I think it is probably your WP theme although I can not be sure of that - is loading a second copy of the jQuery UI from the google cdn. It is an older copy and it is incompatible with WordPress standards and API - which is exactly what the codex article was about. It also means that it has been loaded without using the WP API to ensure it does not get loaded twice. In short it breaks all of the rules.
The 'TypeError' that I pointed to in my last post is also causing problems as suspected. This is because it does not address jQuery using the WP required method. I believe thus is coming from the WO theme as well bit again can not be 100% sure of that.
And on this account you created for me, I can't add topics or reply to posts either, And that is almost certainly because of the above. But until those are fixed up we do not know if there are any others waiting to be found as the TpoeError issue stops all other scripts from running,.

We had this problem and found the solution:
In Wordpress, it's usually a plugin that is causing the "Add Topic" or "Reply" button to freeze up and not work.
Deactivate all Wordpress plugins and test the "Add Topic" button again. If it works then (which it probably will), you have to just activate plugins one or two at a time and test the "Add Topic" button again until you find the offending plugin.
This happened to us and it was a chat box plugin that was causing the problem. I emailed the developers about the conflict and they actually fixed the chat box so it would not conflict. But some plugin developers are not as skilled and create buggy plugins that will cause this problem (breaking the "Add Topic" button).
its usually when a sloppy author includes an external jquery or jquery ui type library rather than using the one that comes with wp... causes more problems for plugins than I can even remember...
