Hi,

I'm trying to uncheck the green light for "use Plain text (Plain Text)" so I can add an HTML editor but it won't let me.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Max

can you explain further what you are doing?  that is a radio button... one of the buttons must be selected...

is that the only option you have?  then you should get one of our three editor plugins...

but if you want to use html in posts, I would suggest something besides a plain textarea... we have a quicktags html editor plugin and tinymce richtext which give you more options... the third editor is a bbcode editor...

Maybe I wasn't explaining it correctly. The green light under "use plain text editor" is on, hence that's the only post option currently. I would like to uncheck that green light and use html editors but it won't let me uncheck it.

Hope this helps

No, you were clear... That is a radio set of check boxes... at least one must be checked... the only editor you have is the plain textarea editor... if you want to select a different editor, you must add at least one of our three editor plugins as I detailed previously...

Got it, makes perfect sense now. Didn't know I needed a plugin for that.

Of topic, one more issue I can't seem to fix: All my posts show as "5 hours ago" immediately after posting. How do I fix that?

Thanks again
