I just added a group of new users via WordPress; I set them up as subscribers. The rank for subscribers is supposed to be "members". I set them up exactly as I did my test users but the new users/members of forum are now showing as moderators (screen shot attached). I don't want them to be moderators, I want them to be members. I've followed the instructions I found in this forum and none make a difference. I even removed the moderator group - no change.
How to I change new users to members?

I am sorry,but a bit confused... do you really mean rank?? ranks are earned by number of posts... or special ranks by assignment by admin... but ranks do not tie to wp roles (ie subscribers) at all...
and you seem to be talking about members and usergroups but not ranks...
you can assign new members to a specific usergroup based on their wp role on forum - usergroups - map user to usergrouops....
additionally, based on attaining a rank, you can set users to get a new usergroup membership when they get that rank on forum - components - forum ranks...
can you please elaborate on what the issue is?
