I created a new sp admin user. And it shows all the unread posts.

Is there a way to make all the unread posts as 'read' 

Also in the WP dashboard. It shows me the admin post bag, can I clear that for this new sp admin user?

admin post bag is global, not specific to a user...  its for all admins/mods...  if you want to empty it, click on the empty admin postbag link after opening the admin bar...

there is a button for clearing the unread posts...  its the second button from the right of the text that says 'X topics with unread posts'....
