Clicking links in the forum causes the entire page to refresh?

I was messing around with some mobile plugins which ended up breaking my site, so I reinstalled everything. I noticed when accessing my forum that clicking links now causes the entire page to refresh and not just the forum itself. Is this normal behavior or is something up? Maybe I'm just too tired.

The page the forum uses for display always refreshes. Always has. We have toyed with the notion of refreshing the forum part using AJAX but the problem there is you can't also change the address bar to reflect what is being displayed.

Well, I changed some of the settings within the forum options and it seems fine now.
