Support Forum
Hi,
I have one forum member who seems to be unable to post without comment moderation. I do not have this setting anywhere and I have checked and she is in the right groups with the right permissions. All the other forum members are fine. How can I solve this issue? Also, I can't see where I can check for posts that are waiting fro approval so unless someone reports this to me I have no idea it's happening. Where can I see a list of posts waiting for moderation? Many thanks, Audrey
A post can go into moderation in two ways. Firstly if you are forcing moderation in the permissions. And secondly if you have the Simple:Press admin bar plugin installed and have turned on the option to check posts with the Akismet spam detection service.
And use of the admin bar plugin is the best way to catch post awaiting moderation as they have to be dealt with using the admin bar before they disappear from the 'admin postbag'.
So - are you saying that neither of these conditions apply?

do you have the wp akismet plugin installed, active and configured with key? the wp plugin is required for us...
you should have three sections on that panel... the one you indicate... another one for the admin bar below it and then in the upper right akismet... you didnt mention the admin bar panel iether... are you sure you have the sp admin bar plugin installed? not the wp admin bar, but our admin bar plugin...

Steve: read the thread from the top. The admin bar is NOT installed. Audrey said it was 'deactivated' and I was asking her to look for the Akismet options just to make sure that the deactivation was sound.
I can think of no other way that any post would go into moderation. Do you have any ideas?
