no, dont uninstall simple press... that wont help since simple press core doesnt create the tables - the plugins do...

so, to be sure, you uninstalled all three plugins via the plugin admin panel?  and said yes when asekd to confirm?  then went back in and installed?

if still no tables, then try one more time, except this time, grab the php error log and see why the install would be failing...
