I have installed the Simple-Press plugin and love it. However, when it is activated the content is no longer visible in the posts and pages to edit or even view it. The content is visible on the website, just not in the editor. This happens no matter which theme I use. Once I deactivate the Simple Press plugin the content is visible an can be edited. What could be the problem?

can you elaborate on what you mean by content? you say it shows fine on the site...but you also say you cannot edit or view it... so you are saying you are not able to edit individual forum posts from the front end? and no clue when you say cant view it since you said it shows fine on the site...
and if you disable simple press, how you can edit its content (ie forum posts)??

Thank you for getting back with me. A link to the site will not help because you can see the content there. It is when you are logged in as admin. You go to any post or page and try to write or edit the existing content, it is as if the font is made invisible...there is nothing there. If you would like to send me a private message I can send you my login details so you can see it.

are you talking forum content or blog content besides the forum content??? by post or page do you mean wp posts and pages vice forum posts? so is this in the wp editor or in the forum editor?

This is the Wordpress Editor...not the forum editor. I purchased the forum and installed it. I have not had a chance to work with the forum yet. It makes the content on the actual Wordpress posts AND pages disappear in the Wordpress editor

really? hmmm... this is local to you (ie not reported in recent years)... any more info in the server php error log? what happens if you do a temp switch to the default wp theme? any caching plugins?

I don't have any caching plugins and very few plugins. I Have disabled all plugins I have installed and also tried the default Wordpress theme. I have no clue what can be causing this. It only happens when the simple-press is activated.?
I hate to not use it and ask if I can be refunded...it is the best forum I have seen out there

Would you let us take a look? It would mean allowing us to take a quick look in your admin side bit it might be the only way to see what might be going on. If this agreeable to you...

and would still like to know if anything in the server error log...
also, you might see more info if you edit your wp-config.php file and add this line:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true);
it will output more notices/warnings/errors to the screen.. so load up the editor after doing so and see if anything interesting reported...
